Where I Take My Trash

Repurposed Trash

When something no longer serves its original intended purpose, try to find a new one! Not only passionate about the enviroment, but also arts and crafts! I love being creative and making new uses out of something that no longer serves its original purpose. The items that get repurposed instead of trashed vary quite vastly. From the yarn scraps of a failed crochet project to a broken hand-made candle, I have found many ways to repurpose my artistic visions that have gone awry.

Donated Trash

One man's trash really is another man's treasure! I take trash that gets donated to thrift stores. The items that are able to be donated would not necessarily be considered trash, but rather they are no longer useful to me and cannot be repurposed. Thrifting instead of buying new items is also a great way to help the environment, and your wallet!

The Last Resort: Garbage

Thrown-out Trash

It is difficult to live a zero-waste lifestyle, though it is possible, but realistically most people have some type of waste. I take the actualy trash that cannot be donated or repurposed to the garbage. This is of course the last resort. However, before anything makes it to the trash, I sort out what can be recycled.
